Program Details

All Pitching with a Purpose Programs are led by Liam McKeough, former Denison University pitcher, along with other former college pitchers. Each session, coaches will focus on mound work and a variety of arm health-related topics throughout each session.
Pitching with a Purpose (Intro - 1st to 3rd Graders):
The goal of the Intro Level program is to get pitchers comfortable on the mound. Coaches will start to lay the foundation by educating the players on a basic warm-up and cool down protocol that can be used before and after a game or practice. The protocol will consist of basic arm care needs and mobilities.
Pitching with a Purpose (Intermediate - 4th to 6th graders):
Building upon the Intro Level, the focus will be on teaching more advanced mechanics. Coaches will educate the players by providing a proper warm-up and cool-down protocol that can be used before and after a game or practice. The protocol will be slightly more in-depth, tailored to each of the players needs - creating a more individualized approach. We will also begin the conversation on basic strength training and proper movement.
