Trey Frahler is the President of Illinois Baseball Academy (IBA). A native of Northfield, he currently lives in Lake Forest with his wife, Ashley, and their four children (Chase, Maryn, Addison & Logan).
Trey's passion for baseball and child development led him to IBA in 2011 where he started working with Chris Beacom. Recently retired from IBA, Beacom founded the business in 2005 and together they were instrumental in developing and growing the mission, programs, and success of IBA. After starting in a church gym, IBA is proud to now serve over 5,000 children each year.
Trey is grateful for the positive impact and lessons learned from his baseball career. His vision for IBA is "to grow the game of baseball and help develop the leaders of tomorrow...to re-pay those who have gone before us by teaching proper fundamentals and instilling core values in the players of today." He believes in working hand-in-hand with community associations and park districts to fully support community-based baseball.
Trey's greatest satisfaction comes from the relations he has cultivated with players and their families over the years. He is proud to be a part of the community and appreciates watching the players grow in baseball and beyond.
